Use Juju.ug with confidence
Browse listings freely, compare sellers, and create an account only when you need contact details, protected chat, bookings, orders, saved listings, or seller tools.
Quick Start
- Open juju.ug and search by service, product, category, location, budget, rating, or verification.
- Open a listing to check the price, description, seller area, reviews, and safety notes.
- Sign in when you want to reveal a phone number, message a seller, save a listing, place an order, book a service, or post an ad.
- Report listings that make unsafe promises, pressure you, request secret payments, or break the safety policy.
Buying or Booking
- Browse the public feed and use filters for category, location, budget, rating, and verified sellers.
- Use View details to inspect photos, seller notes, price, and terms.
- Create a buyer account when you need contact reveal, protected chat, saved listings, reviews, orders, or booking requests.
- Buyers can start after either email or phone verification. The profile remains incomplete until both are verified.
- Use buyer.juju.ug to manage saved listings, requests, chats, reviews, and profile status.
Selling Products
- Choose Sell or open seller.juju.ug.
- Register with your name, email, Uganda phone number, location, shop name, and one clear seller image.
- Verify both email and phone with OTP before publishing.
- Upload one clear product image and describe pickup, delivery, price, quantity, and usage boundaries.
- Product listings can go live after account verification and marketplace checks.
Offering Services
- Register as a practitioner with contact details, location, profile image, practice name, service category, years practicing, and references.
- Verify both email and phone with OTP.
- Submit your practitioner application for marketplace review.
- Service listings are reviewed before they appear publicly. Edited service listings return to review before going live again.
- Approved practitioners can manage services, leads, protected chats, ads, and invoices from the seller dashboard.
OTP, Passwords and Accounts
- OTP codes are sent by email or SMS after you request them.
- Use a valid email address and a Uganda phone number in a format that can receive SMS.
- Buyers may continue after verifying either email or phone.
- Sellers and practitioners must verify both email and phone.
- You may set a password after verification for faster future sign in.
Ads and Invoices
- Ads are available for live, reviewed listings.
- Choose a plan, city, listing, and campaign note.
- Ad requests create a manual invoice in the seller wallet.
- Campaigns are checked before they run so promoted listings follow marketplace rules.
- Payments are manual at launch and are confirmed by the Juju.ug team.
Safety Rules
Juju.ug does not allow medical cure claims, violence, blackmail, coercion, guaranteed outcomes, surveillance, or services targeting another person without consent. These listings can be rejected, hidden, or reported.
Troubleshooting
- OTP not visible: wait a moment, check SMS or email, then resend from the same popup.
- Login says wrong role: buyers use the buyer dashboard; sellers and practitioners use the seller dashboard.
- Cannot post: sellers and practitioners need email and phone verification plus a profile image.
- Service pending: services need marketplace review before going live.
- Phone hidden: sign in first, then reveal contact from the listing details page.
